Community Cleaning Day Announcement

This Saturday, our neighbourhood group will have a cleaning day to make our area clean and beautiful. We will meet at the community park (1) ______ 8 a.m. Please remember:

● Bring gloves and trash bags to collect rubbish safely.

I live in a small flat near the railway station. It's convenient because it is much (1) ______ to get to places from here than from the suburbs. I can easily go to school, visit my friends, (2) ______ see the art gallery. Near the station, there is a big (3) ______. People usually meet and enjoy outdoor events there.

However, living there is a little noisy. Many trains pass by every day, and the road is always (4) ______ with cars and motorbikes. Sometimes, the noise makes it difficult for me to sleep (5) ______ night. But I still want to live there because it is easy to go everywhere.

1. Last summer, I went to my grandparents' house. It is in a small fishing village in Da Nang city. Life there was very quiet and peaceful. Every morning, fishermen went out to the sea at sunrise. They caught fish and other seafood to sell at the village market. The market was always noisy and crowded. Many people came to buy fresh fish and vegetables. Next to the market, children ran and played near the sandy shore.

2. In the afternoon, fishermen checked their boats and nets. They also helped clean the beach, collected trash from the shore and recycled it. Sometimes, they taught children not to catch young fish and to protect sea animals. Everyone in the village worked together to keep the village clean, the ocean safe, and the beaches nice. Life in the village was simple and peaceful.
